From a Vision in 1995 to a Legacy of Hospitality
Founded in 1995 with a 77-room Hampton Inn developed by Windsor Aughtry, Hospitality America grew through selective expansion, strong operations, and long-term owner relationships. Under Chris Cargen’s people-first culture, the company earned Top 100 U.S. management recognition by revenue while maintaining disciplined financial performance through cycles like 2008, protecting assets and outperforming brand averages across 30+ hotels. Today, with Cargen as Chairman and Ben Campbell as President/CEO, Hospitality America continues evolving with a renewed strategic vision and commitment to sustainable growth.
