On June 26th, 2005, the State
Newspaper (Columbia, SC) announced the annual sampling of the best
businesses in the area. The ballots are tabulated and accumulated in a
special supplement to the Newspaper. For the 2nd year in a row, the Hampton
Inn located at 822 Gervais Street is the reader's choice for Best Hotel /
Motel in Columbia, South Carolina. This prestigious award is thanks to the
much hard work of our entire staff and loyal patrons who make our hotel what
it is today.
