2005 - Hospitality America, Inc. ("HA")
was just named 2004 South Carolina Hotelier of the Year by the AH&LA
Hospitality Association of South Carolina. Bo Aughtry and Chip Davis
accepted the award at a “Stars of the Industry” awards dinner at the annual
Hospitality Association of South Carolina Meeting and Trade Show in Myrtle
Beach on January 25.
Bo Aughtry, Chip Davis and Hospitality America generated many headlines and
TV reports throughout the State of South Carolina during 2004 in connection
with the following:

Announced 115-room Hampton Inn &
Suites-RiverPlace, part of a high profile mixed-use development called
Riverplace in downtown Greenville to open in early-2006.

Tony Tam elected President of
Columbia Hotel Association for 2004/05.

Announced 222-room Hilton at the
new Metropolitan Columbia Convention Center, one block from our Hampton
Inn-Columbia Downtown Historic District (cost: circa $125,000/key inclusive
of $3 million city subsidy and land from city). A Ruth’s Chris operator will
lease and provide 100% of food & beverage services.

Chip Davis elected President of
Greenville Hotel Association for both 2004/05.
