The Richland County
Appearance Commission will be giving Appearance Awards to recognize the
beautification, landscaping, and revitalization efforts of Richland County
citizens, community-based organizations and businesses. This program
emphasizes the importance of beautification through public and citizen
investment. The Hampton Inn®
- Downtown Columbia has won the
Richland County Appearance Counts Award. There will be an award
presentation held in the Richland County Council Chambers on Tuesday,
October 21, 2003. In addition, an "Appearance Counts" sign will be
placed at all the winning locations. Tony
