The Year! The Hilton® Columbia Center started the year off establishing itself as the Columbia hotel favored by most of the leading candidates for
President of the United States during the pivotal South Carolina primaries.
The hotel's two largest suites were deemed truly Presidential with occupancies spanning nearly two weeks by both Hillary and Bill Clinton. Other candidates
staying with us there included Rudy Giuliani and John McCain. Mike Huckabee and Barrack Obama chose to sleep instead across the street in our Hampton
Inn® Columbia Downtown Historic District, but the Hilton® Columbia Center provided other support services to both.
As of today, the Hilton® Columbia Center is current ranking the VERY BEST HILTON out of the 287 full-service North American Hilton Hotels!
