HILCC-Hilton Columbia Center winner of the Hilton Full-Service 2012 Perfect Hilton Honors Check-In Challenge

I am happy to announce that the Hilton Columbia Center hotel was selected the winner of all Hilton full-service hotels worldwide under 290 rooms.  For their great accomplishment Hilton Corporate will be sending the hotel $10,000 to distribute to the desk team. 

A contest all Hilton full-service hotels worldwide participated in.  It’s the Perfect Upgrade challenge by Hilton, in this challenge the front desk staff is required to do the following items and the guest is required to acknowledge it in their Salt Guest Customer survey.

  • Welcome all Hilton Honors members by their tier status
  • Upgrade Diamond and Gold members when available
  • Tell the guest they have been upgraded
  • Describe the upgrade to the guest

The total additional costs to the hotel for the desk doing a great job was nothing.  The desk won the contest by doing what they do best----taking care of our guests.
