("HA") tied for first place as the Top Management Company By Occupancy in HOTEL BUSINESS magazine's April 20 annual survey of the Top 100 [Hotel] Management Companies in the nation for producing a combined 74.9% occupancy. In the same survey, Hospitality America ranked #83 By Gross Annual Revenue of $29.3 million, improving from a rank of #96 the prior year.

Lauderdale's newest hotel in 70 years, an unusually upscale 11 story, 157-room Hampton Inn® City Center opened in February 2002. Two more hotels are about to start construction including a 122-key Hampton Inn & Suites® in Tallahassee, FL and a 118-room Courtyard By Marriott® in Columbia, SC across the street from Hospitality America's historical award-winning 122-room Hampton Inn® in the heart of Columbia's Congaree Vista Historic District.
